Movie Of January

January 1st 2009 | Posted by xlin

January is a month for casual release. Neither the container of September or the blockbuster battalion in December, it’s time for solid genre work horses that will earn modest income to the spillover from the smashes like Christmas Bedtime Stories and Marley & Me.

Each weekend the opening of this month is aimed at a clever appeal to different audiences, so no movies are in direct competition for the dollar. 2009 starts with  Bride Wars, engines to the release of the Happy Madison production Paul Blart: Mall Cop against canine flick Hotel for Dogs, a rescue shelter Kiddie comedy that hopes to mimic the success of Beverly Hills Chihuahua.

The most likely out of the month is Inkheart, a fantasy show based on the British best-selling trilogy. The third in a trilogy, Underworld: Return of the Lycans is to score a respectable $ 20 million debut as his predecessors. But before January concludes with his last-modest sure thing, the smart-helmed Renée Zellweger romance in New Town, it is possible a few small-budget surprise detours that should be enough to earn their heads high, as Biggie Smalls’ biopic Notorious or the 3D remake of the D-list 1981 slasher My Bloody Valentine, who will perform better in the theaters as a handle Midnight Movie special event.
